QUINOA, THE GOLDEN GRAIN OF THE ANDES	Quinoa is one of the most precious foods in the Andes. Its characteristics are well valued since the Thiawanaku Empire or Inca ages, and it’s a fundamental part of the daily diet of their inhabitants. This grain contains eight of the essential amino acids, high content of proteins, vitamins, calcium, iron and 0 cholesterol, becoming one of the most complete and healthy food products.

In this occasion the author of the book “Quinoa, Golden grain of the Andes” and close friend of Walisuma, Rita del Solar, shares two gourmet recipes using this unique product.
